Rain clouds approaching

It's been a dull ol' day, a bit of rain this morning and then heavy skies for the rest of the day. Its not cold though, so it was still pleasant to be out walking Murdoch this morning.

I went out to get some groceries and more ice, and I popped by these fields on the way home to see if the wheat had been harvested yet - as you can see the fields are bare. 

Luke is getting so bored at home, so today two of his university friends came for the day - they all enjoy cooking so they made a very exotic duck stir fry for lunch, which was followed by some baking of scones. They will all be sharing a house together in their last year at university, along with another two students, and they all enjoy cooking, so it certainly won't be pot noodles and beans on toast for them. 

Tonight is the first meeting of our school parent's camera group - last term we concentrated on food photography, and for homework over the summer we had to do a 2 page spread of a recipe - I have added one of entries in the extras (I did a couple of recipes).
