Corfu Town

We were picked up by coach at 4.45pm which took us to Corfu Town for an evening of sightseeing and shopping. This was much more sensible than last year when we drove there in our hire car arriving at midday!

We were dropped off at the Old Port area so walked along the waterfront to the Old Fortress then we headed into the maze of little streets and alleys full of shops. More browsing than buying took place although we did pick up a couple of things. The coach driver did a brilliant job of getting us back across the steep, windy roads in the pitch black to the other side of the island.
