Green Shoots

Another changeable day today - so what's new!

I popped out this morning to put some vegetable peelings in the compost bin and the sun was shining brightly at that end of the house. I thought a cuppa in the morning sun with an interesting book would be good, so came in to get organised. Before I could go back outside it was pouring down!

Off to Green Shoots this afternoon to tend the veg plot. I tied up the peas, picked a few ripe pods and did a bit of weeding. This is a photograph taken from the path down to the Walled Garden, looking over the wall - there are several polytunnels there (see extra) where the folk can grow various things under cover and keep out of the rain on the odd occasion when the sun isn't shining!
