Wound up in Wexford

Feasting pigeon

I've not had a good day today. I woke with a headache, after yet another restless night. After showering and dressing I retired back to the bed, and W very kindly brought breakfast upstairs. Eventually I made it downstairs, but have sat in the garden room all day, reading, dozing, and playing mindless computer games.

We have a bird feeder just outside the window, which normally attracts a variety of different tits - coal, blue and great, along with sparrows and an occasional robin. Today, not a single bird has visited for me to take its portrait! I've seen and heard the occasional magpie, but the only bird to hang around long enough nearby for a photo was this wood pigeon feasting on elderberries. Why? It's not raining, and I can't see any cats waiting to pounce.
