Brighton Beach Patrol
It's a quick blip and run tonight as it's 11.15pm - we've been busy packing ready for our trip to France tomorrow and have only just sat down. We're leaving first thing as the ferry is at 10am and we have to be at the port at least an hour before, although we don't have far to go which is great. The boys are staying here with Charlotte the doggy sitter, so they'll have fun I'm sure.
Another quiet day at work, but I went for a walk at lunch time and thankfully the wind has dropped and the sea was nice and calm, which is good for tomorrow - Alan doesn't really like boats and we've got a 4 hour crossing! Anyway, as I was walking back I heard the beach patrol quads coming up behind me rather quickly on the beach, and I saw them stop further ahead and were talking to a guy in a wet suit on the beach. I'm not sure if there had been a problem but everything seemed ok by the time they got there.
I received messages from two friends from the Brighton Skies group to tell me that one of my photos was in the newspaper again, so I went and got a copy. I've added a photo of the article in my extras, and my photo is the one of the 'Birds on a Wire'.
Anyway, it's time for bed so I'll say goodnight. I'll still post my blips while we're away, but I doubt I'll be spending much time online so apologies in advance if I don't get chance to comment.
