Safari....

It felt like I was on a safari today, if only to Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge.  There are still not many birds at the refuge, migration has not started I suppose.  But I had the opportunity to watch these barn swallows for a while.  I also had some fun shots of red wing blackbirds.  Further on I was watching a nutria when two babies swam out to her and one climbed on her back, I will put a shot in Extra photos.  A great blue heron was quite close to the water and posed nicely as they seem to do, also in Extra photos.  Then when I left the refuge I was having a chat on the phone to Shirleyray and I had to pull over and take a few shots of the coyote, also in Extra photos.  The coyote was pretty far away, but I had to include him.
