Pip and Camilla at the station
I've been waiting some time for this to happen. Rather a long time ago I had an idea for a film, which Pip is now making, about the essential need to improve access for everyone across the railway at our local station. The town council is moving the issue rapidly forward and wants to get lifts added to this listed footbridge, originally designed by Brunel, as was the whole staton.
Camilla agreed to be interviewed and she was perfect, with her clear calm exposition of the problems. Pip is a great local filmmaker with a long heritage at the BBC. I think the outcome will be very powerful and salutary. It is also very timely as a new fund has just been announced for improving access for eveeryone at stations on the rail network.
Once the film is finished and has been shown publicly, I will add a link to an online copy on my blip journal.
