Symi Ruins (Twice)

Symi has many ruins, mostly from the first half of 1900s when sponges began to run out and Rhodes became the most important Dodekanesene island. Symi was still important enough at the end of wwii that the Germans signed their surrender of the islands here.

Symi has also ruined my expectations when holidaying anywhere else. It's hard for other destinations to live up to.
