I watched and enjoyed " The Children's Act " today. I usually find Ian McEwan's writing interesting. He's written the screen play for this. Richard Eyre is directing. He's added some interesting twists that were not in the book.  It raised all sorts of questions for me about professions/ need/ love for both Genders and how far we still have to go with all this.
I found the papers reviews poor, ( seemed to me they'd missed the point ) things got a bit more interesting when I looked at legal reviews.
