A Loire Valley Blipmeet in Blois!

A hot, sunny day in the Loire, and a morning visit to the beautiful Château de Cheverny, just in time to see the feeding of the Cheverny’s hundred hunting dogs (rather a brutal affair, very French!) - first two extras.

The afternoon saw us arrive in Blois and park up in the centre of town in the motorhome aire. After exploring the town on foot (third extra), we returned to the van to find Berger and Mrs B waiting for us! They’d arrived in Blois that day too, at the start of a cycling tour of the Loire, and were staying just round the corner from us. A Norwegian blipper and a UK blipper meeting up in France, a very continental blipmeet! So of course we just had to celebrate with the inevitable glass of local bubbly!!

After saying goodbye/ha det/au revoir to Mr and Mrs B, we went back in to town for an evening meal, and then to the Château Royal de Blois for their spectacular Son & Lumière show (last extra).
