Culture Day

Today was the start of the second Heritage Open Days 2018 weekends.  We went over to the west coast - Blackpool - in search of 'culture'.  We found some - of different standards :-)
We visited the White Church at Lytham St Annes as seen in Mrs. MD's Blip and then went along to Blackpool Pleasure Beach who were offering free entry (no rides) for the day.  It was fascinating.  My Blip is 'The Icon - Dare to Ride' - well I certainly wasn't brave enough - but many were.
My extra is a more traditional ride - The Derby Racer.  It was enormous with a great organ playing loud 'fairground' type music.  It certainly sped around at great speed - too fast for me.  We enjoyed a day of 'different culture' and then had Fish and Chips on the promenade at Cleveleys.
