Fevered Friday.....

Why is it that on a Friday the volume of traffic on the road increases, and the standard of driving decreases?

This is purely a matter of personal observation although I am sure that somewhere there must be data that confirms or denies that!   The motor insurance providers claims records perhaps?

Of course, one could continue by positing some fairly obvious reasons behind the statement.....
