Early morning visitor

And it was not Florence the Hurricane/tropical storm.   She is due here about 3am but we are seeing some clouds and a nice breeze now.  Still 2 hours away driving but she is moving so slow it might be after sunrise tomorrow before we even get any rain.  It is just so up in the air..no pun intended!    So very sad about all the damage in the Wilmington area and the flooding in other areas of North Carolina.  They are getting inundated with water and wind right now..with high tide being around noon..which is the time here now.    Blipper AsburyDan has a home near Wilmington so please keep him and his Wilmington area friends in your thoughts and prayers..he is safe at his daughters home which is in my town but he has friends in the neighborhood who stayed.   It must be a very scary feeling to have to go home after a storm like this and see what you will see.  

The storm will make a bigger impact on my son in Creston, North Carolina than we will have.  They are in the path of the forward moving storm edge and then when it supposedly turns after bearing down on us he will get that rain.  I think they are looking at possibly 10 or more inches..they are calling for only 4-10 here and it is looking like it will be on the low side for us.  Flooding happens at the creek in front of his home when it rains for several days..water goes down hill! so we know the creek will flood.  They are on high ground so the house will be fine..they might have to park across the bridge over the creek though.  Thoughts and prayers for them too!  

This buck came to the feeder just at daylight this morning with another buck but none of the other deer family came by.  He sure is pretty!  

We are waiting patiently...or not.
