Back at Last.

I took the steed in to the local shop, last week, for a routine service, so I thought. Well: new chain, new brake pads - front and rear, brake cables, gear cables, front wheel bearing, rear wheel bearing/free hub. So, not so much of a service, more of a full refit. Aahh well - should run nice and sweetly now. It's not going out in inclement weather, though - neither am I!!
