Prominent figures of our time?

Blast Furness walked the streets of Lancaster this evening as part of the Lancaster Jazz Festival. Time for yet another tableau, this time at the Queen Victoria Memorial in Dalton Square. What I hadn't appreciated until I googled it was that the bas relief is of likenesses of prominent British figures from the Victorian era, of whom only two are women (George Eliot and Florence Nightingale).
