Bird Walk , Portland, Dorset

Back on Portland again today for a Bird Walk with Bob Ford - haven’t been for a few weeks so it was good to be out and about with the group .
We saw a wheatear and my first pied fly catcher which was a tiny little bird . Still some swallows about swooping over the cliffs as well as the odd gannet . Some interesting flowers and seeds including fleabane and the remains of Portland Lavendar.
Finally, Bob spotted Autumn Ladies Tresses Orchid growing in someone’s lawn - I think they would have been a bit surprised to see a monocular and a group of people staring at their garden if they had glanced out of their window !
