The chills

Three things caused the chills today.

1) The boiler struggling to provide us with hot water.

2) The man coming on Wednesday to fix who's going to charge a pretty penny for the parts.

3) The plumber who came today and extracted a dead baby blue tit from the external boiler vent, while simultaneously declaring he's surprised we hadn't suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.
