Memories

There was a birthday boy in town today so we ambled through Edinburgh uni to get to The Field, and very nice it was too. We walked through what was once Crichton St car park when I was a fresher, and amazed at the posh accommodation available those poor students.
There was something grounding about chipping the ice off the inside of the rented flat windows in the olden days when I was a poverty-stricken teenage student, to see what the weather was like outside.
