2018 Monday — Dinner with Patricia

Patricia phoned us yesterday . . . she really wanted to take us out to eat, but that wasn’t quite aligning with our schedule. She was flustered and wanted to talk.

This evening when we got her in our vehicle and drove away from her house, she announced that she didn’t want to talk about yesterday’s dilemma. Ugh!

The past four years Patricia has been living in a brand new home that she and her daughter (& new son-in-law) purchased. Patricia was advised by several friends not to do it. It seems now that she wishes she had not formed this partnership, but she is very hesitant to tell anyone how she feels. It’s as though she has taken an oath to be positive.

It is very unpleasant to watch her hinting that she is not happy about the situation. We are not sure how to help her, other than just be listeners.
