My weekend's aim was to bake a tasty pumpkin pie without the assistance of pre-mades and packaged goods. From picking the pumpkin to making the crust to grating the nutmeg, I attended to as many details as possible.
Though it could have baked a touch longer to set the filling more, I must remark it is delicious. Even the crust has flakiness I've never attained.
Simple delights of the season.
