A thin sliver of a hope

I went to work today to distract myself.  I call the insurance to see whether if there were any fees on changing the flight whether they were covered and also whether the hotels in Sydney and Dublin would be covered.  No they won't.  Ok, on the phone to the travel agent to get her to see what other flights I can get on.  It's looking like Thursday at the earliest.  Another mini search when I get home from work is fruitless but I haven't given up.
