Duck and cover

I've been hankering after some new ducks and had mentioned it in relation to my upcoming birthday. But it was a complete surprise when son Huw returned from visiting friends late this evening with three - already installed in the duck house. Naturally I had to go straight out to inspect and here they are, all cwtched up (as we say) in a packing case. They'll spend a few days shut in to allow them to acclimatize to their new home before I let them out to explore the surroundings and investigate the pond which has been recently benefited from Guinea Pig Zero's ministrations. It's a shame he's not here to see them on it.
