Sustainable Home

This morning we went to the school for their Spring Fair. Olivia was playing in the school band for year 3 children. There are 100 kids in the class and all new to their instruments this year. I was expecting an ordinary performance but the band was amazing. Give them a few years and they will be even more amazing. One benefit of starting young. The school is huge and there are more children in each grade than in the entire school for the children out here in Bathurst.

On the return trip home we called to see this home in Blackheath for the annual open day for sustainable houses. It has won Awards and had some great features. Made from straw bales, lime render and cob and timber from the property.
