REALLY REALLY LATE

O has a habit of requesting a difficult birthday treat. At 13 he wanted to see the Colosseum in Rome (” nothing else just that”) Unfortunately The Rev had been made redundant so he had to wait 2 years!!! At 19 he requested a meal at Tom Kerridge’s restaurant. The 3 month waiting list, distance and the fact he went to Greece for a year meant it was delayed 4 years!!!
#Today we went to Tom Kerridge’s Grill in London (much nearer) it only opened a few days ago.
#mushroom risotto with crispy egg
#venison, Hand & Flowers carrot with a side of shepherds pie (exceptional delicious)
#brown butter tart....not as pretty and O’s chocolate dessert.
#and we saw the man himself....of course The Rev went up to speak him!!!!

Thankful....to share O’s passion for fine dining.
