Night of the roaring 20's

There is an absolutely brilliant new restaurant in town called Dry 205. It's a speakeasy. You come in to a foyer which has one wall that is all book shelves that are really doors and you have to find the knob to the door to get in. The host is dressed in period clothes as are the servers mostly, and the decor is largely antiques and a lot of it is period. There is a photo of Al Capone  in the window, a 1918 calendar on the wall... absolutely wonderful. The food is good, the drinks are great and just for the ambience it isa lot of  fun.
So... L. who invited us to a games club group last year thought it would be a great idea if we all went there and dressed up and had a games night. She cleared this with the owner who thought this was a great idea and helped with a trivia game L. set up. Having been car shopping and sick most of the week I dressed up more like "Thoroughly Modern Millie" just arrived in the big city , but the rest of the group put way more effort into it. L bought a flapper Halloween costume. And the rest of the folks were very inventive. The young lady in short sleeves in the corner is the owner and the gentleman behind her is the host. It was a fun evening. And gin drinks are pretty good! ( No I only had one) Extra is PSU game  where we spent the afternoon.
