Friends

Went to Sherburn in Elmet Art Club Annual Exhibition this afternoon. We were members many years ago but stopped going about 8 years ago as its a long way to go and we are not getting any younger, and we joined Kippax art group which of course was nearer, although we still go to the exhibition each year. These two are my friend Wendy on the left we have been friends for 66 years since we started at high school together, and Carolyn who i have been friends with for 27 years.

The exhibition is in Church Fenton village hall where the meetings are held every Tuesday and as usual it was excellent. So many talented people and so many who try hard.

Took Kirsty who was also a member and Caitlin so lots of chatting and catching up. Sad though as we get older we hear of more and more people who have passed away.

Otherwise a quiet day just as Sunday should be
