Piece Hall, Halifax

A mixed day with sun, cloud and showers.

At my sons this weekend so today had a run over to Halifax.   We just got on the M62 to be confronted by a huge tailback.   Colette googled it and there was someone was on Scamenden dam bridge and the Police were talking him/her down.   It appears that someone had jumped off and taken their life last week from there.   I wonder how desperate people are to do that.

We assume the person was rescued as we were not held up much longer.

We had a good wander around and called for a cuppa and cake.   The weather did pick up later.
