A Long View

An autumn scene today as we drove east to Berwickshire to have lunch with our friends C and C.  It's great to spend time with such long-standing (I can't bring myself to call them old!) friends.

 I love to see the colours of the countryside change as the season turns.  Looking towards the Cheviot on the road home, we stopped to admire the patterns of the fields and hedgerows. The blue sky was a nice addition to the scene.
