Adventures

Cleaned the flat, made up beds then over to the airport to collect G&K and take them on the adventure tour. We started by driving across the bridge to St Andrews, where we had a nice walk around in the sun and they were delighted to find that Janetta's ice cream parlour does lunches, so we had some open sandwiches then gelato...yum! before browsing the buildings and shops (and I was pleased to buy a couple of items in the nice clothes shop there where I'd bought a coat a couple of years ago).
Slight mistake on directions but managed a drive through Dundee to see the new V&A (looks great but smaller than it looks in photos) and then up to Grandtully and checked into the hotel....vey exciting to be their first guests.
After a rest and a freshen up we sat outside in the courtyard with some drinks - beautiful late afternoon sunshine (love it when the weather helps me out when I'm being a tour guide!)
We made our way up to Ballintaggart Farm for dinner...getting lost on the way which wasn't good when I was running out of petrol!...but once we arrived it was lovely, welcoming and a very beautiful setting. The dining room was lovely - and the food delicious (extra)
Back down to the hotel late and collapsed straight into the big comfy beds with lovely down filled quilts.
Gorgeous!
