The Sallow

I had this Sallow moth Cirrhia icteritia  in my trap this morning, a sure fire reminder that Autumn is well under way, and very soon the leaves on the trees will be turning golden giving this little moth excellent camouflage.
It is listed as common, and really very variable with some species showing little or no brown at all.
On the home front we finally finished the BBQ, I really thought I was good at flat pack furniture, it seems I was very wrong!
