Distraction

Not an early start today with too good a book on the go (The Ruin by Dervla McTiernan) which was finished this afternoon. Bailey and I had walked and I was working before ten. A batch of marking done and some prep for a meeting but lots of other things were rendered impossible by being unable to access the work email. It did serve to make me more productive with house stuff and I managed to cut the grass; make soup for lunches; hoover and wash the kitchen floor; tackle the ironing pile and do some sorting of 'stuff'. Bailey decided he'd help by wiping himself dry on the bedding waiting to be ironed - until he was stopped - and tempted by the contents of the puffin mug. And tonight, I'm watching The Bodyguard and Bailey is snoring. It's obviously not compelling viewing for dogs.
