Framed twice

How not to ask him to pose next to his portrait when I found him some meters apart from it? He willingly posed for me and told me it's his neighbour's home that shows the portrait and thus the painter's hand who lives there.
The reflections in the glass window were obvious when taking my picture, couldn't avoid them due to the hour of the day.
