Brasvellbreen & Torellneset

Ship cruise in Brasvellbreen along a section of a 137km ice shelf wall. Spectacular. Icebergs of all shapes, sizes and colours. The occasional gunshot-like sound of ice cracking as a calving occurs.

Zodiac cruise to a walrus colony in the afternoon - no decent photos as we didn’t get close and I don’t have a telephoto lens.

And the big excitement was spotting a polar bear - however it was very far away, the staff called it a ‘pixel bear’ as that is about all it takes up on an image!
