Mysterious……..

A view from the Cook Strait ferry while travelling between Wellington in the North Island and Picton in the South Island of NZ.

I have taken this looking along the side of the ship, bracing myself in the incredibly strong northerly wind. Despite its strength, it was a relatively calm crossing - a northerly is far better than a wind blowing from a southerly direction when crossing this notorious strait!
