Start them young

S loves to hoover so once I've done the house, she gets the dining room to do (seems most appropriate as her and N make the most mess here ;-) ).

Both my youngest know all about having to keep a house tidy and join in with dusting, hoovering and loading the washing machine.

You may ask why. Well, let me just say that my teen doesn't lift a finger. She can barely make the run between her room and the laundry basket so I was determined the other girls would understand about having to tidy up.

Don't panic, I hate housework so they are lucky to see the hoover once a week! ;-)
