Day 1 Travel

Up at 4.30am for the drive to Dublin.  Thankfully I was a passenger, not the driver.  It all went smoothly from Dublin to New Quay and onwards on the Twin Otter to St Mary's in the Isles of Scilly.  We checked into our campsite and headed to the beach for registration etc.  The 400m acclimatisation swim in (a cold) 14.5 degree water went well in togs - but it's going to be wetsuit from now on.  The sun was shining, the seafood was tasty, the company great.  We're off to a good start.
