Verbena

After some food shopping it was time to face the allotment.  Lots of things needed attention and we cut back all the spinach and chard that was suffering with mildew.  A few courgettes were picked and I was pleased to note that some of the turnips are ready for picking.  Tiding up and weeding continued,  there is still lots more to do but then it hasn't had much attention recently.

This Verbena flower growing on the pathway of a neighbours allotment provided todays blip.
