MM243 - Escape
I braved the town centre traffic lights to take a trailer-load of green waste to the Honeyball recycling centre. They increased my journey time by twelve minutes or so in all, but I was rewarded by a red kite soaring over the quarry and pool behind the massive skips, and by a large contingency of gulls, mostly lesser black backed, plus some Canada geese and one or two greylags on the pool. Occasionally there would be a mass exodus to escape some threat or other, such as in this blip.
I wouldn't have thought of converting this to black and white and subsequently to monochrome had it not been for the Mono Monday challenge, so thanks to its host Ellaphant.
