A few days ago I noticed lots of acorns on one of my Oak trees but as I was busy at the time I thought I would photograph them the next day.   When I remembered them I was surprised to see the tree was bare, Jays had taken every last one.   This evening I noticed there were just a few left on the Oak tree by the workshop so I've captured one of them in the last of the evening sunshine with a family of ants on the stalk if you look closely..    It's been windy here today but with sunshine and in the mid 20's.
