Tableau Erection 2012

It's that time of year again for the erection of the nativity tableau.
This year, the second for its siting in front of the church went without a hitch.
It's not often that I do manual work these days, but when I do its always enjoyable, especially if there's a great group of people with you.

Seeing the tableau reminded me of a story I heard recently where a young lad had found difficulty working out why Jesus, Mary and Jesus were poor. He couldn't understand as the 3 wise men had given them Gold, Frankinsense and Myrhh.
He's got a point.
