The new V & A

This morning we took the train to Dundee,crossed the road, and in minutes were in the magnificent new V & A museum opened a few days ago.

Having watched the construction with its very unusual architecture it was fascinating to see how this amazing Japanese architect had designed the interior.

First stop was to visit the gallery that contains the special exhibition featuring the ocean liners which will be there till next February- this is so worth seeing . The exhibits show a taste of the opulence of transatlantic travel and dining in the years before WW2.
