Mushroom

The front garden was looking good after a tidy up, mainly by my wife, and cutting the grass. And the colours in the shrubs were beautifully autumnal. We were proud of it.
But coming home this afternoon after a long and stressful day out at the hospital, I was shocked to find 2 mushrooms (or toadstools) growing on the lawn. How dare they! We have weeds in the garden, but who doesn't. But mushrooms? Quite unheard of round here.
So tomorrow we'll see how many there are, and if there is a good crop we'll need an expert on foraging to tell us if they are edible.
