Aperture on Life

Party in the Park

It's been wet and miserable all day. The dogs and I came home dripping after our walk. I chose to go up onto the sands at the base of St Martha's hill to avoid mud. The one delight of the sand is that it just drops off without leaving too much of a mess.

About to cook my last Romanesco Broccoli, it seemed a shame not to use it for one last blip. I'd found these little N gauge figurines in the back of a draw the other day. I could have used more of them but they are so fiddly and won't stand without a little help from a little ball of plasticine. I spent a happy half hour, am now dry but am ready for a bath and the dogs want their dinner.
