Rainy Tuesday

I spent this morning in the kitchen after taking Dylan for his walk. Emma is coming to tea and I wanted to make a warming soup. I plumped for Creamy Carrot and Parsnip, with homemade wholemeal croutons spiced up with herbs.

Emma and Thomas bought me a blender for my birthday earlier in the year, along with a soup recipe book with some truly scrumptious offerings. I've only tried a few, but now the winter is approaching I feel I'll be dipping into this book more often.

After lunch we went to Costa for coffee, yes I know, I'm onto coffee again. It started raining whilst we were in there and I took advantage of a window seat to take a few street photos.
