More activity in the field .....

...... the men are volunteers from English Heritage, but they wouldn't disclose any more.    Think they are looking for archeological remains, as it is not far from the Cortstopitum  Roman Site.   Since we have lived here there have been several applications to build on the field but have been turned down because of green belt.   However green belt doesn't seem to stand for a lot these days, so I am a bit suspicious.

We have had several large trenches dug in our back garden for drainage purposes, but never found anything in the least bit Roman.
