Childhood memories

When I was at school our music teacher set this story to music.  I wasn't good enough to take part in the performance put on for the public, but I always loved the songs.  I used them to send the children to sleep instead of lullabies.  I did the same for the grandchildren ( my husband used to say it bored them to sleep!)
This beautifully illustrated copy came into the charity shop and I couldn't resist it.
Went for a very blowy walk and tried to take some blips of huge rose hips but they were moving around too much.  Beautifully warm wind!
