Drying out

There is a lovely bird hide in our resort.. We went there early this morning and had many bird sightings, with the nearby hippos keeping an eye on us.
This African Darter (correct me if I'm wrong please Popsicle) was one of many with outstreched wings enjoying the sun before it reached 38deg C.
We had more wonderful bird sightings in the Park, including a Marshall Eagle, Tawny Eagle, White backed Vulture feeding her chick in the nest, Ground Hornbill. We get as excited with these sightings as animal sightings.
Too hot for our planned braai....think we'll stick to a salad!,
