was the beginning of a WILD, wet, windy day when Storm Ali battered the country...I didn't venture out..a lot of roads were blocked by fallen trees..but the west coast was worse hit..a Swiss woman, a tourist in her 50's died when the caravan she was staying in on a cliff,  was lifted by the wind and crashed into the rocks and Atlantic below....terrifying for her....
