RAILWAY BRIDGE

Between Meinbrexen and Wehrden.
My entry for the Wide Wednesday Challenge, with the theme: metal. Huge thanks to steveng for hosting.
It was high time again for a nice walk, and we drove to Meinbrexen, walked around the large gravel pit. We saw cormorants, geese, lots of geese, and white egrets, a colony. It was very hot, and when we rested in the sunshine, it was too hot, and we found a shadowed place under a tree. At one moment we bathed in the river, lovely cool water.
The bridge crosses the river Weser, and when we take our train to The Netherlands, we look out the window,  and see the river and the gravel pit.
