Wild

What a wild day weatherise.

It began when I was woken with a thunder and lightening storm around 1am. Roxy was barking as she was frightened by the thunder and the noise of the swirling wind. It sounded as though someone was throwing stones at the windows but it was the falling leaves thrashing against the glass.

Unfortunately I had an appointment in Dumbarton this morning however, as the weather seemed more settled I set off with reasonable confidence. It didn't last long as the wind began to gain momentum. The journey home saw lots of broken branches and debris strewn across the road. I think I was lucky as there appears to have been many roads closed around the village due to fallen trees.

Took this photo of Haggis trying to find shelter until his humans got home.

Daughter's quest to find a flat to rent in Edinburgh continues. Arranging viewings is not easy. Often arrangements get cancelled at short notice and competition appears to be fierce. Exhausting and frustrating.

Anyone have a flat to rent in Edinburgh?
